The Yamaha Pacifica 012 Red Metallic is a full-size electric guitar featuring a double-cutaway body design, known for its great tone and playability. It has a scale length of 25.5 inches (648mm) and a bolt-on neck construction. The body is made from agathis, though some sources list mahogany  , and it has a gloss polyurethane finish. The neck is made of maple with a satin polyurethane finish, and the fingerboard is walnut with a 13.75-inch (350mm) radius and 22 medium frets. The guitar features a vintage-style tremolo bridge with a screw-in tremolo arm and covered machine heads.
